Tea garden base management is strictly conducted in accordance with the relevant standards stipulated in the People’s Republic of China’s agricultural industry standard NYT 5018-2001, “Technical Regulations for the Production of Pollution-Free Tea.” 2. The Base Management Section shall regularly submit water used for production and daily life at the base to testing agencies at or above the prefectural level for analysis, and promptly implement corrective measures upon detection of any issues. 3. The application of pesticides and the control of plant diseases and pests are the responsibility of plant protection officers; each primary processing facility shall assign one such officer to oversee plant protection activities across all tea gardens under its jurisdiction. 4. Fertilization in the tea gardens must be carried out meticulously in compliance with unified requirements, with thorough records maintained. 5. Pesticides used for the prevention and control of diseases, pests, and weeds in the tea gardens shall be of biological origin.

Tea Garden Fertilization Management Procedures
1. Based on soil physicochemical properties, tea tree growth status, expected yield, tea-processing type, and climatic conditions, determine appropriate fertilizer types, application rates, and timing, and implement balanced fertilization in tea gardens to prevent both nutrient deficiencies and excessive fertilization. 2. It is advisable to apply ample organic fertilizers; chemical fertilizers should be used in combination with organic fertilizers, avoiding the exclusive use of chemical fertilizers or mineral‑based fertilizers.
