On June 16, 2016, the Mangshi Tea Industry Technical Training Conference was held in the second group tea professional cooperative of Liziping Shanzhai, Jiangdong Township. It focused on the protection of ancient tea trees, the processing of fresh leaves of ancient tea tea, the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests in tea gardens, and rational fertilization. Practical technology trained the participants. The training meeting was sponsored by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Agriculture Bureau, and the Municipal Tea Association. A total of more than 100 people from the prefecture tea technology station, prefecture plant protection station, city tea office, city tea technology station, township leaders, association members and tea farmers attended the meeting.

　　At the meeting, Li Enlian, secretary general of the Municipal Tea Industry Association, explained and demonstrated the protection of ancient tea trees and the fresh leaf frying processing technology of ancient tea trees from the perspectives of basic theory and practical technology; Practical experience, in view of the recent frequent and high incidence of tea plant diseases and insect pests, the prevention, safe and reasonable use of pesticides and the reduction of pesticide residues in tea were explained; finally, the senior agronomist of the state plant protection station Luo Benqiu explained the types of tea garden drugs currently on the market, Fertilizer varieties and their safe and reasonable use technology are explained in detail. The technical staff distributed more than 200 copies of the ancient tea tree protection manual and tea quality and safety series materials on site.

　　The training session was rich in content, easy-to-understand, combined with reality, and had strong practicability. It played a very good guiding role in promoting the sustainable development of the tea industry in Mangshi.
